Working Out With A Fake Tan?
DON'T
Exercising directly after applying Self Tan
A big NO NO! Exercising after applying self tan means you're asking for your tan to be patchy and streaky where you perspire. Leaving you with un-desirable results
Exercising whilst your colour is developing
You might have followed the goldern/Tanzola rule and popped on loose clothing but you've decided that you'd like to go for a run during your development time. Again, any risk of sweat or wearing tight clothing should be avoided until you've showered the self tan or spray tan bronzer off.
Wearing tight clothing after self tanning
Despite the fact that putting on tight clothing is a mission when you're very sticky, wearing tight clothing whilst your tan is developing could leave blank areas where tan has rubbed and stripes where the tight material has run.
DO'S
Exercise after you've showered your development bronzer off
Once you've hit your desired development guide colour, make sure you shower in lukewarm water, you can start exercising again.
Apply a barrier powder to sweaty areas
Before putting on your runners and popping on your tight clothes, you can apply a talcum powder or The Glow Dry setting powder to your underarms, backs of your knees and ankles. This help reduce rubbing from your clothing which can cause the tan to rub away.
Go lighter on your self Tan Colour
If you do like to exercise to the max, choosing a lighter development colour will result in a more natural fade and less likely to leave you with obvious colour residue.
