How To Get The Perfect Tan For Your Wedding?
The Perfect Wedding Bronze.
PREP
The prep is essential to creating the perfect spray tan base- Isabel, Tanzola Spray Tanner.
Preparing your skin is a key part for the perfect wedding bronze, commonly there are a lot event's leading up to your big day. You may even have a wedding the weekend prior to yours.
We always recommend our brides to have at least a 2 week break with NO TAN.. I know, it's hard to comprehend however, this is best for the skin to be it's most hydrated for your big day.
We understand that this sometimes isn't possible, so hear us out.
The best thing you can do it treat yourself to a FULL BODY SCRUB at your local beautician/day spa. This will not only polish your skin to be it's smoothest but also remove any old spray tan.
It's essential this is done 2 days prior to your appointment. Scrub oils, which we love, can leave a barrier on the skin. To avoid this affecting your wedding tan, it's best to leave time for your skin to absorb this to prepare for your tan.
TRIAL
If you're considering a glow for your wedding day, I highly recommend a trial appointment. This allows the spray tan technician to learn your skin type and create your best wedding tan. It also lets you see the colour before your big day. I recommend getting a trial tan for your final dress fitting, hens and/or make-up trial - Madi, Director of Tanzola
Trial tan appointments are perfect to meet your technician, trial your wedding tan and learn what's best for your skin. Usually, brides will invite there maids and family members to join in the experience.
If you are planning on having a trial tan, be sure to include this in your booking request.
We also recommend to have your tan 2 days prior to your dress fitting, hens/make-up trial.
The Big Day.
You've had your spray tan, 2 days prior to your wedding, now what?
You still need to follow these essential rules. Keep hydrated, not only will this make your skin glow, it will also help it maintain it's moisture.
We also recommend using a natural moisturiser daily in the lead up to this day.
Madi's Tip- Make sure you keep your hands moistursed. They are the focal point for your ceremony. If you find your hands are fading, use a few drops of our Tanzola Face Tan Water with your hand cream to keep your glow.
